Terms and Conditions

The Cherry Tree Club (hereby referred to as Us) is a trading name of UKCS Homewares Limited, company number 11267133. By booking with Us, you form a legally binding contract with UKCS Homewares Limited.

About You

By booking and paying for a place in our club, you are confirming that :-

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are the legal guardian of the child (ren) on the booking
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

Booking

Your booking will be confirmed via email once full payment is received. Part payment/no payment is classed as a pending booking and cannot be reserved. Full payment is a confirmed booking. Full payment must be received no less than 14 days before the first club date booked. If for any reason your booking cannot be accepted by Us then you will receive a full refund. By booking you are confirming that the child is within the age brackets for the club activity booked.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel please let Us know via email as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees may apply.

  • Cancel within 7 days or less of club date – no refund given
  • Cancel between 21 days and 7 days of club date – 75% refund given
  • Cancel more than 21 days of club date – full refund given

In the unlikely event a club is cancelled by Us, we will endeavour to give at least 14 days notice and a full refund.

Pricing, availability and dates

All club costs are clearly displayed on our website and marketing material. Should there be an error please notify Us as soon as possible. Where a pricing error is made, it is done so by human error and cannot be offered to customers.

Availability of certain activities can be affected by circumstances outside of our control, and while we will do our best to inform parents of any restrictions, no refunds can be given for changes to our planned activities.

Insurance/Lost property

Our insurance is provided by Markel (UK) Ltd. We have public liability cover of £5,000,000 and employers liability cover of £10,000,000. We are not liable for participants personal injury, sickness or death unless directly caused by proven negligence of the company or staff.

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any personal property and advise parents/guardians to encourage children to leave valuable property at home. Anything children do bring with them must be clearly labelled with their full name. We suggest parents/guardians check on collection that all property is collected.

Health and Safety

We conduct thorough and on going risk assessments for all of our clubs. By booking you are giving consent for your child to participate at their own risk. We require all medical, behavioural, special needs and allergen information to be provided on the information pack supplied after booking. Your child may be excluded from certain activities if we do not have this information and no refund will be provided.

If we consider your child too ill to take part in the club, we reserve the right to send them home or cancel your booking. As sickness cannot be anticipated, where possible we will credit for a future booking.

Photography and Video

We like to provide a realistic representation of our clubs on our marketing material, therefore we will be taking photographs and video during our clubs. If you consent to your child (ren) being included please ensure you complete the relevant form in the information pack supplied after booking.

Drop off/collection

Please ensure we have full details of all adults responsible for collecting the child (ren) and that the adult has current photographic ID should they not be the adult dropping off that day. We take safeguarding very seriously and will not allow children to leave with an adult if they are not named on the form. If we are unsure we will call the parent on the booking form to check.

Behaviour management

We want our clubs to be a fun and learning environment for all participants, therefore we have a behaviour policy in place. Any negative behaviour will not be tolerated and should this continue exclusion from activities may occur. Future club bookings may also be cancelled with no refund given. Please ensure you discuss this with your child.

Data protection

We take our responsibility as data handlers very seriously. All information provided on our online forms is encrypted and we will never knowingly share information with anyone outside of our company unless we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. safeguarding). Any photos or video of your child (ren) will only be used with your written consent. We do have a legal obligation to report any suggestion of child abuse or neglect and will do so immediately. Lead staff are enhanced DBS checked and trained, junior staff and volunteers are never left unsupervised with children.

Parent feedback/complaints

We are always working to improve the clubs we provide, therefore any feedback from parents is very welcome. Please speak to the club leader at drop off/pick up time or email Us.

We treat any complaints seriously and will fully investigate where necessary. Please be assured that it is extremely important to us that all participants enjoy our clubs and parents are confident in our ability to provide a fun and welcoming environment.
